i'm looking for some people to make a band with around Brum/West Midlands area. I live 14miles from brum, a train ride away basically. I have a drummer, i'm just looking for some creative people who want to play with. Influences? Mine are Sebadoh, Pixies, Guided By Voices, The Jam, Sonic Youth, Beatles, REM, XTC, Blur... it goes on. I play guitar, im looking ideally for someone to sing & a bass player. If you can do all 3 then great. Basically im looking for some unpretentious, humble people who are friendly & are musically un-pompous.
