Band members wanted
Hi.
25 yr old guitarist/programmer (only playing guitar for one year almost )looking for others for original project. A punk/hiphop/electro project.
This is a long shot but I wonder if there are other likeminded types out there. Anwyay here's what I am looking for.
MCs or vocalists with original lyrics, M or F.
Bassist
Drummer
DJ
Another guitarist/keyboardist
And anyone into messing around with soundchip synthesis on Atari STs and Commodore 64s. Don't need a programmer neccassarily but someone who is familiar with Chip musicians such as Mad Max, Big Alec, Rob Hubbard and of course Count Zero (not me! I nicked the name from the book not the musician!) and also has access to an Atari St or C64. You don't need to know machine code as there are some wicked free chip sequencers out now. Just have to be into the style.
This is no retro thing, I just hope we can create soemthing new. Justa few influences to know where I am coming from:
The Fall, Jesus Lizard, Big Black, Swans, Mike Ladd, Prince Po, Danger Mouse, Richard X, IAM, MC Solaar, Black Dog, Autechre, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin.
