we need a bassist with strong rhythm and good groove for a hypnotic psychedelic band (whatever that means).

lots of layered sounds with melodies at the core. main sonic influences are kevin shields, spiritualized, fennesz, susumu yokota, found sounds, weird instruments lots more stuff.

rhythmically (and i'm the drummer!) a lot is minimal krautrock, but im into stuff with more groove and space as well. say earlier verve stuff, but also lee perry, james brown and soul can come into it all someway....and im a big fan of reni/mani type groove...
