So I've been playing piano for a good few years, our old upright was shit so we got rid, for the last couple of years I've been in possession of a pretty bog standard but not too bad Yamaha P60. I've been composing and trying to write stuff for a few years now, I'm kinda bored of just playing piano as an orthodox piano though. Basically I want to try soup it up a bit so I was wondering if anyone can give me possible ideas of how to do this? I'm a bit of a technophobe when it comes to musical instruments but I was wondering if there's any FX pedals I could put through my piano/amp to create some different sounds and textures and the like, things like that. Or if I was to purchase a synth keyboard or something what would you recommend?

any advice would be most greatfully received!!

P.S. Anyone have any knowledge on drum machines?
