Recording Project...

blackeleph [Edit] [Delete] 12:16, 20 June '08

Interested in the recorded format primarily. Looking to pass on recordings to someone other than me who can help add and build upon what i have started. Interested in dream pop, west coast psych, shimmering acoustics, organic (real) sound, chord progressions, arpeggio, loops and loops and loops, concising ideas, messing with pop atmospherics, lo-fi, multi instrumentation, ambience ambience ambience! - thinking on John Fahey, Deerhunter, Hella, The Dodos, Grails...

Particularly interested in the concise looped structure, cramming ideas in pop stylee without compromising the integrity or journey of say a good 'post rock' style song - if possible...

Preferably looking for someone good with beats / rhythm (RZA are you out there?) or atmospherics, drone stuff. Whatever really but organic soundscapes are preferred over slapped on electronic beats - i like that warmth... I do however feel a lot of warmth can come from 8-bit sounds, always open to incorporating that nostalgia.

Anyone who enjoys the process of messing with sound recording as an experiment to see what is possible, get in touch...
