Something like noisy but pretty shoegazing - London

andrewuu [Edit] [Delete] 14:35, 14 June '09

I've always found that the most musically successful adventures are the laid back ones where you really just want to have fun. The ones where you just find others on the same wavelength, jam on the first thing that comes to mind, and see how it goes.

Lately, I have been thinking of four-track cassette recorders, Tim Hecker, Sunn O))), My Bloody Valentine, Krautrock, homemade covers for CD-Rs, indie guitar rock from the 1990s, Dead C, strobe lights, old Sebadoh and Guided by Voices recordings, Spacemen 3. Something droning and pretty. But with a beat you can rock out to.

I'm a guitarist and bassist, and don't mind what you play as long as you think that something like this sounds interesting. Let me know what you think.
