We are a Brighton based band called Stars and Sons (www.starsandsons.co.uk)

We are looking for a bass player, as our current bassist has to leave due to other commitments.

We have recently signed an investment deal, and have just finished recording our debut album in Bryn Derwen in Wales with producer Dave Eringa (manics/ash/idlewild etc)

Singing ability would be a bonus, as well as being able to learn from recordings. We are likely to be touring a reasonable amount next year, as 3 singles will be released followed by the album in July. So far we've played venues including shepherds bush empire/concorde 2 etc.

Influences are things like Elliot Smith/Ben Folds Five/Flaming Lips, but I'm sure you'll get the idea if you listen to the tunes. (The ones on the website are demo versions)
