I'm a bassist looking to start an afrobeat inspired funk/psychadelic band based around Stoke Newington (n16), writing own material from scratch and jamming on lots of synchopated, polyrhythmic ideas. And possibly splicing in some dub sounds.

I'm 34 and have played everything from heavy rock to electronica. I consider myself a very solid groove-focussed & creative bass player with excellent tempo. Very open minded and just looking to put together an energetic, danceable band, centered around a core of guitar/bass/drums and eventually adding horns, vocals, percussion and traditional instruments - african or otherwise.

A range of ages & races would be ideal and preferably a passion for 70s afrobeat and other traditional african styles - north south east or west.
