I'm getting very frustrated trying to find a band to play in ...

I'm in my late 20s,play bass, and am into art punk and noise rock, not completely adverse to (melodic) hardcore, and other forms of punk. If you're good, you're good; I'd be happy to be involved in anything good!
I suppose something quite post-punk, rhythmical would be good. Adam Ant, Hella, Melvins, Gorilla Biscuits (therefore CIV), Super Junky Monkey, John Zorn, Dead Kennedys; Blondie, Stooges, Fugazi; etc. Anything noisy, fast and interesting, really, I guess. Nothing ambient, please.
