Bassist wanted for dystopian glam rock band (London)

ricrawlins [Edit] [Delete] 17:37, 11 January '11

Hey ho!

We're Skeletons On Holiday: a dark and melodic sci-fi rock group with a great female singer and some inspiring tunes to go.

We've been together since last summer and have played three gigs so far, including the Buffalo Bar and Camden Barfly.

We're looking to make some interesting noises in London this year, with festival appearances, photo shoots, music videos, recordings and press appearances on the cards.

Influences are: Bowie, surrealism, Pixies.

You can hear our first demo here (although it's a rough mix that's not quite finished!)

YOU ARE:

* A bass player in your twenties
* Groovy and melodic
* Friendly! No big egos please
* A naturally quick learner

TOGETHER WE CAN:

Make friends. Ahhh. And play some festivals too - we're in with a good chance of playing Offset Festival and possibly the Great Escape in Brighton too.

SO IF YOU ARE:

Open to new ideas, up for creating some great music and above all non-egotistical and easy to get on with, give us a buzz!
