Specifically, I want a demo exchange type deal. You (singer, songwriter or both) send me an mp3 of your stuff, regardless of how rough, I send you mine, we both see if we can establish any interesting ideas collaborating on each others ideas in this way.

I dont want to "meet up and see what happens", I've done that before and it gets tiring: you set up a man-date at a pub or something, you arrange a practice room, the person who was very pleasent to have a drink with turns out to sing like scott stapp choking on eddie vedder. You jam aimlessly for 3 hours paying the jerks at enterprise studios £10 an hour for the privilage. Say goodbyes, repeat.

No, I'd prefer to find someone who it's enjoyable to write with first, sort out other stuff later. I'd hope anyone who's serious about songwriting these days would have at least a mic and basic recording software.
