I can play guitar and synth - have a lot of gear. Interested in doing something dark, slow, heavy a la Dead Meadow, Electric Wizard, Conan etc. but a little less formulaic than Les Paul + fuzz + Orange + slow pentatonics. Joe Preston's Thrones project seems to be the best example of the direction I'm interested in. I'm looking for a drummer who ideally plays other instruments and would be happy playing a ryhthm track on a synth or a sampler, whatever the music needs. Imagination and artistic integrity much more important than technical proficiency.
