Hi, I have been a solo performer/songwriter (Vocals/guitar) for 6 years after playing in a number of bands and keen to play again
with others on a live basis (at present). Have played around 100 gigs around the country and have released 3 cd-rs,(currently working on a 4th) and now I'd like to expand on that.
My music/style/sound, I suppose you would categorise as Alt/Indie- Rock, but with Ambient/Post-Rock/Folk/Lo-fi tendencies.
Influences include (but absolutely not restricted to) Pavement, Silver Mt Zion Orchestra, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sparklehorse, Elliott Smith, Rilo Kiley, Ani Difranco, Cranes, Laura Veirs, Sleater-Kinney, Blonde Redhead, Jeff Buckley to name twelve. I'm currently based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire - so would probably be practicing here too, so it would really help if you can get here without too much difficulty.

What I'm looking for preferably is someone with a good attitude and a certain commitment to playing (flexible). I understand that
some people are busy with work/other bands so I don't expect you to be able to always be able to practice/make all shows

Own transport is preferable, but not necessarily essential. (though if you're a drummer then I guess that is neccessary really! but depends..) Also preferable is an open mind, a competant playing ability, a sense of fun, that you like my songs
(would help! :)) and that getting paid isn't your only/main stimulation!
