Hi, I'm the frontman of a band called Deer Park. We've been going for about four years in various incarnations but after a quiet spell I want to try something different as either a different form of Deer Park or a side project. I'm looking to start a stripped down alt-country/indie folk project with just guitar, drums and good harmonies, possibly bass too. If there are any girl drummers with a great voice and a good handle on country and folk, that would be ideal. My influences are old country and folk like Gram Parsons, Johnny Cash, Dylan, Townes Van Zandt and John Prine and newer stuff like Shovels And Rope, Bright Eyes, Neko Case, Wilco, Josh Ritter, M Ward, She & Him etc.
