Music Social More…

I would like to start a band that only plays one note.

So each gig = one pitch class. B flat for half an hour, say, or f# over and over again at any octave transposition. We might do 12 gigs. One for each pitch class in the chromatic scale. I imagine it being a little bit like the first two-and-a-bit minutes of Ligeti’s Musica Ricercar Part 1 (https://youtu.be/nIs3jechQ_E) but arranged for, say, bass, drums, guitar, maybe some brass… and lasting a lot longer.

Who's with me?
