We're a band based in London and we're looking for a drummer to play shows with us.

Someone recently described us as being "like an industrial outfit with one ear attuned to krautrock and one eye on the charts", which I think is fairly accurate. We have quite a lot of songs written, a 12" coming out next month and another being recorded at the same time.

You would need to be able to play to a fixed tempo loop (often a bass pulse, sometimes a drum machine, sometimes not at all), and be willing to play simple and solidly. Think Geoff Barrow in Beak, Moses in Deerhunter or maybe George Barnett from These New Puritans.

Given that we are already relatively formed, musically, at the moment this is only really for someone who wants to play live. We've had some great shows already, and we have people helping us book more - ideally touring in the new year. Get in touch if you are interested and I'll send you more info and links to recordings!
