Someone's invited me to the Notting Hill Carnival this Monday.

I was planning to do something else but, given I only live about 15 minutes from Notting Hill, this probably the best year to go.

But is it any good? I imagine it to be one of these things which sounds fun in theory but then you go and realise that it's okay but that the only reason you're going is to say that you've been.

Is it actually worth going to?
