People who say 'honestly, music is my life', or 'I listen to a bit of everything really'?

I mean, what exactly does 'music is my life' mean? It's not actually sustaining you, and the majority of the time it is said by people who are wearing From First To Last t-shirts.

And on the other hand, how can you be so ignorant of music and how important it is?
