Why aren't I tired?

sophiacherryx [Edit] [Delete] 04:27, 12 June '07

I hardly ever seem to be truly tired these days and this tends to make going to bed rather a chore.

I can't understand it as I am out and about doing things everyday/most evenings. If anything I should be MORE tired than the average person.

Unless I'm really hungover/haven't been to bed all night, I just don't feel that tiredness naturally creeping in around the time it should, or even past that.

This isn't just an 'I can't get to sleep' kind of problem, because the majority of the times I have nights where I go to bed but toss and turn and can't seem to settle down I do feel tired but can't stop my mind whirring. Plus my beds a wirey pokey bitch.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
Any ideas as to why I'm having this problem?

I want to be really, really tired and snuggle in my bed and sink into a deep, satisfying slumber :(
