So I get the reminder saying my car tax expires end of april, I assume I can probably get away with buying a new one anytime in may but wait until the end of the month when I got paid, at the end of the month when I have the money I lose my only car key and the reminder letter is inside, eventually I find my car key in someone elses car get reminder letter go on internet to pay but is too late, doesn't recognise my reference number and says go to post office with MoT and insurance certificate, I go to the post office and they say they can't do it without my vechile registration document, look everywhere for it and can't find it so order a new one, then it turns up at my parents house, so I have everything ready only to notice my MoT expired last month. I can't pay the tax without an MoT but don't know if I can even drive it to get an Mot without an MoT or Tax, and assume if I declare it off the road and then drive it to get an MoT thats even worse. As you can tell im well organised.
