in manchester it was much better! i went to see fog and a silver mt zion and :( and other good/okay people and gave flyers out afterwards! here i have to suffer bad death metal bands!

would it be rude to just wait outside until after it's finished and then thrust flyers into the punter's hands? would it be frowned upon if i went into local 'alternative' drinking establishments and started handing out flyers? i don't want to get beaten up for stealing people's business :(
