I'm seriously considering it (largely 'cos meeting someone with the specific intention of 'dating' would solve my usual problem of spending yonks wondering if we were 'dating' or just friends, and then being crushingly disappointed at the end) and am wondering

a) which, if any, are worth using

b) it is theorertically possible to meet interesting, intelligent and non-desperate people on such sites.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
