WARNING!!! adverts vs guilt trip adverts

ehwhat [Edit] [Delete] 14:08, 19 June '07

Whenever I see an advert to do with fare dodging / not paying your tv licence / benifit cheating etc and it takes a really clever clever threatening tone, I must say, it makes me want to go out and commit these offences just to spite the wanky advert.

There was one ages ago which had a range of shades of red that you would supposedly turn if you were caught fare dodging. One of these was "Dying of embarrassment damask", which in itself made me want to take a day off work to actively fare-evade like a fucking TfL pirate.

Also the "ooooooh scary" TV licence one "Weeee haaave every addreessss in the counnnntry". Well go and fucking bust everyone instead of making heinously ghei advertisements about it.

This is all further bolstered by the feeling that a room of advertising pricks somewhere off Dean Street is effectively conveying these messages to you.

Probably a little illogical
