but they have way way way over-reacted, how much do you apologise?
do you apologise to the extent to which you think is appropiate to the actual faux pas that you have made, or, do you apologise to the extent that they are upset?
so lets say - you ate some ones apple and they go absolutley ballistic over the incident - do you just say sorry and but them another apple, or, do you beg for their forgiveness and buy them a car??
