would advertising for a flatmate on the internet be a bad idea? basically i'm moving to manchester for university in time for september and i really really can't be doing with living in halls. i think i'm probably too old and boring to live with a load of wacky student types and most of the good places in manchester are fully booked now anyway.

i was planning on finding a place with a friend but she's since pulled out on the grounds that i'm an idiot and living with me would probably be the worst thing ever. SO, would it be a good idea to try and find someone who i might have something vaguely in common with to try and find a flat with? it'd be like spaced or something!

or failing that, does anyone know anyone in manchester who's looking for a flatmate? i'm nice and clean and i can cook and stuff!

and if you haven't got any useful advice, at least agree with me that raspberries are the king of fruit. i just devoured a whole punnet in about three minutes. yay!
