Parents

How well do you get on with yours?

I ask as I spent the day with mine on saturday, we went to see the Damien Hurst Exhibit (well, half of it) and then had lunch and a wander around London. And I had a REALLY good time. We were laughing, taking the mic out of mum and had loads to chat about.

Obviously our relationship has improved since I left home, we used to have rows all the time. But that was mostly due to petty stuff that comes up when people live together.
But after my step-dad recently came up for Ryan Adams at Koko he's repeatedly said how much he enjoyed spending the evening with me and we've both discovered how much we really enjoy each others company. It's really rather nice (Y)

All in all I think my parents are pretty cool people and I actually enjoy spending time with them. So am I just a lucky one or can most of you here say the same thing?

Also family gatherings - torture or 'triffic?
We had a weekend at kent in a cottage the other week for Seans mums 60th and again, we all just had a laugh. We got pissed and played wink murder :D

So I quite look forward to family things. Do you? Or do you dread them?
