Pro-Tools for $40 anyone?

TheoGB [Edit] [Delete] 10:49, 28 June '07

Well not exactly, obviously. My band mate just sent me the following:

"I've been playing with Reaper ( http://www.cockos.com/reaper/ ) which is basically looking like a real Protools killer. It's a tiny download ( 2.2mb) , very fast to boot up, supports all the protools DX and VST plugins, has plugin delay compensation, supports multiple CPUs (unlike protools 6.3) and you can even hookup another PC and get it run additional FX for you. Cool, ay ? plus it's FREE shareware, uncrippled. Only $40 to buy anyway."

Anyway, reckoned there'd be a few of you interested in this. Current exchange rate means it's only about £20 I presume.
