My boss went mental at someone this morning in a meeting.. and then it seems, decided I was next... Said I wasn't committed... and didn't have the right energy for the job etc... Odd when I had been reporting into his wife who seemed very happy with the work I had produced with great feedback all of the time.

I was a freelancer, sadly without a contract, and after a build up of him saying I wasn't committed to the job (absolute bollocks - I worked hard for the company and brought money into the business), he escorted me off the premises in a most unexpected and humiliating way, with the small team of 8 people in total shock.

Well, the life of a freelancer without a contract (my fault) and thus no notice period...

Shame - I really was enjoying that job.

No idea whether I'll have a reference or not. Thinking of just writing it off and starting afresh. Fortunately, am employable.
