I was watching Syriana with this person, a staunch Bush supporter. And his big commentary on the film was how it was anti-Bush propoganda, end of. I started to say that he's an idiot and caught myself. There's no way to have a political discussion with this particular brand of idiot.

People on the left can irritate me just as easily. Maybe more so because I expect them to be able to use their own brains once in a while.

Now, I can get along with people from the right and the left but people who're unable to reason individual issues on their own without resorting to party bromides really burns my ass.
