It's taken a tidy while (I used 40Ar/39Ar to date the solidified volcanic ash layer immediately overlying my first post, giving me a terminus ante quem of 56.4 ± 0.2 Ma (1)[which falls in the Thanetian epoch of the terminal Palaeocene]), but I have finally reached my five millennia.

In Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable, next to "quality not quantity", there is a 4 x 6" aquatint (2) of my diminutive frame (3).

The convention seems to be for people to field questions from the floor, but I can't really be arsed, unless it's something genuinely facetious or almost unacceptably profound.
