this will be potentially impossible to diagnose, but my computer just wont turn on. i'll turn it off at the back, then try to turn it on at the front and it'll whirr and beep, before dying pathetically. the current record is about three seconds of whirring before the sorry death.
i've removed the floppy drive which was sapping up power when i never used it, and i've removed a few more non-essential things that wouldn't affect the running order of things.

any ideas? and i swear to god, if anyone suggests that i should get a mac, i'll shoot them in the face. if i could afford to get a mac, i would. alright?
