At white heat a number of weeks ago I remarked to a friend how much I disliked 'indie kids', she said 'but aren't you one?'

This irked me. I think of 'indie boys' as listening mostly to terminally dull music made by white men with guitars. I may have the jeans and the occasional piece of striped clothing but I don't think i'm an indie boy, or perhaps i'm just in denial.
