Following on from a previous thread: The woman who - faced with an excessive workload (partially provided by myself), snapped - got a temporary replacement.

The replacement is a woman who will put you on hold to look for some piece of information, at which point she will launch into the most extreme insane stream of consciousness rambling, which mercifully is generally one sided.

"I'm going into the C drive. Just looking up this file here. Oh, what's this? I've never seen this kind of file before. Should I click it? I'll call Dan first. Oh, he's off today, I'll ask him tomorrow. Ooh, tomorrow'll be exciting... oh wait here's the right file! Oh noooo, it's not! Or maybe it is! Let's look at the index here..."

And so on. Generally for about 10 minutes each time.

It does occur to me to clear my throat and say "You know, I AM actually listening to this."

But I want to see how far she'll go.
