Last night, I went to some random persons house with my house mate (we are both caseworkers for different political parties) to capture and rescue three kittens and their mother. The house owners wanted to put poison down cause no one would help them remove the cats, and they'd shit up their childrens wendy house. They had a hot scandinavian au pair. That is a side issue.

So, inside one of those plastic childrens play houses, largely full of cat urine, with a feral female cat defending her children, in the driving rain outside. There was scratching and violence.

First time in a while where I've found myself sort of floating out of my body, looking down and saying 'what in the name of fuck are you doing here you plum' which didnt involve a girl and a date.

Anyway. The cat family are now in our basement with food and water and (rather optimistically) litter trays. The kittens best survive cause I've named them. 'Jurgen', 'Thudd' and 'Dimitar'. And the mother is 'Martine'.

Bizarre evening.
