Some people I know are dead against them, too showy and all that. I haven't really got anything against them, if tastefully done. Jimmy Tarbuck owns the number plate COM1C which, whilst it might not stand up against the Trades Description act, is kind of cool.

Then there is the despicable arsehole that lives around the corner from me, drives some sort of hairdressers' convertible, and has the number plate H115NOG.

Or, as he has it illegally spaced out, H1 1 5NOG.
