hello lovely people of drowned in sound.

In my ongoing battle with iTunes, I'm now trying to get some songs in the library.

I have "my documents" full of mp3s I have ripped using media player. I want to get them into the iTunes library. But when i go to import, it doesnt seem to let me select whole folders. Or multiple files.

does anyone know how this? Or should I just give up and get a winamp plug-in for putting songs on my ipod?
