I mean, all publicity's good, right ? But what about all these nonentities who are being relentlessly mediasaturated and contributing to the worldwide loss of appreciation of lifes simple things like the written word presented well and with meaning, a bird in flight, the smile on a childs face ? Instead we're presented with people who, if there was any justice in the world, should have been taken into a clearing in woods, forced at gunpoint to dig a shallow grave then shot in the back of the head

Are the media bad people for forcing these ulcerous growths on civilisation into our lives or do we deserve them ? Is the world really dumbing down ?
