LwP:I wonder what the members of The Applejacks are doing now?

prole-art-threat [Edit] [Delete] 13:10, 1 August '07

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Well you know, all bands whose fame was fleeting and have long since returned back to land of the normal and there's simply OODLES of them surely? I use the Applejacks (one hit wonders from the 60s) as an example of a band who will now be grandparents for crying out loud. i mean wouldn't it be weird if you found out your great uncle was the bassplayer in the Yarbirds. Just think in 40 years time someone will have to live with the fact that their stepdad is Johnny Others for crying out loud.

Anyway my point being what ARE all these long gone bands from the last 44 years plus doing?

PS - 'Tell me When' by The Applejacks is one of the finest examples of headrush pop you are ever likely to hear.
