I'm not sure why, but as soon as someone refers to their boy or girlfriend as their 'partner', regardless of sexual orientation, this makes me think they're an arsehole.

Does anyone else have this problem? Still to boyfriend, girlfriend, husband and wife, and my blood pressure will remain steady.
