Now, I don't want to get ahead of myself here, because we've had one false start on this already (back in June, which petered out fairly quickly). But things are looking hopeful.

Usually this phenomenon occurs on a Monday morning ('Boob Monday'), when, emerging from your filthy hovel, bleary eyed after a weekend on the sauce, you blink away the eye-crust and realise that everyone on your walk to work is looking remarkably fitter than usual. Either people are dressing for the sun, or the warmness is just putting you in a better mood (top scientists have been using science to assess which of these explanations is correct, and the findings will be published in The Lancet in the coming months).
