I love using this all the time. It's got quite worrying; especially when I start using worryingly long extended metaphors to describe the consistency of paint. My favourite phrase remains 'cough syrup bass' which I last used describing fugazi's The Argument to a friend. So. Do you use synaesthesia? What is your favourite phrase?
