The Beetham Tower Manchester in - strangely enough - Manchester is the tallest building in the city and the tallest building in the UK outside of London.

The top 24 floors are divided up into luxury flats, with the top floor penthouse being the highest living space in the UK.

Said penthouse was bought by the building's architect, one Ian Simpson. Contained within the property is a "semi internal" garden featuring 21 four metre high trees.

These trees were craned to the top the building before the roof was added.
