"indie" computer games

yes_ [Edit] [Delete] 18:18, 15 August '07

That MGS thread got me thinking...
Theres usually an "indie" side to everything, right?
I.e Stuff that is generally not "popular" but is brilliant and overlooked, generally too "challenging" for the general public, or just not marketed because of lack of funds etc

And dont anyone get pedantic on be about what "indie" is. You know what im talking about

Do you get "indie" computer games?
I would say I'm a pretty big "games" fan, without being an "enthusiast". I can and have played final fantasy and the likes for hours but never sought out "indie" games, mostly because i didnt know they existed.

Do they?
Any you can recommend?

Monkey island seems to get banded about on here, though Im not sure if its just a "geek chic" thing. I'm probably too young for it anyway.
