Last night it was a mates birthday at the local rugby club. He asked me to dj a few weeks ago, cos he'd booked a 'party dj' and wanted some banging sixties dancefloor screamers to sour up the sickly sweet taste of all that Jacko and 80s stevie wonder.

Trouble is, the party dj, who I THINK was also a mate of his, was a total fucking COCK! Didn't want to let me on- I was happy to leave it for the sake of not fucking up my pals birthday- but his girlfriend and a few other people insisted- this is after we'd heard 'billie jean' for the second time. Party dj then proceeded to claim that one deck was broken, so we'd have to go back to back- which we did- with him using the other deck (rolls eyes)

Every time I stuck a record on, he'd sort of snigger and roll his eyes at his mate, despite the fact people were clearly digging what I was playing...

Normally I'd have just called someone up on their prickish behaviour, but this time I thought I'd try being REALLY REALLY NICE, told him it was a beautiful experience and that he was one of lifes great dj's etc...hehehe
