Right now I'm reading Mrs Dalloway.

I think I would like her if I could get round the fact that it takes me about 3 re-readings of each sentence to understand it. seriously, does her prose have to be THAT meandering. it takes so much concentration to understand the sense of the novel that you never get any real feeling of the wider 'flow' of it.
