How do plugs work?

PocketMouse [Edit] [Delete] 00:26, 24 August '07

So if I put two extension leads on one plug socket, meaning I have about six or seven plugs using it for computers/tv/hifis will it be safe? Or is that too much? Is it more stressful for the socket or the electricity if there are more plugs using it? Is that obvious? Science works strange sometimes.

And if I have four extension leads for the other socket, so say fifteen plugs, but just for little things like lights and chargers, is that safe? Does it work like that?

Is my house going to set fire in the night?
