Hello all.
As some of you may know, I moved into my new flat yesterday. However, upon arrival I discovered that half of the lights didn't work. Further to this, as I walked up the stairs to my bedroom I was shocked as I saw that my bed had not been put in yet and my curtain was not up. Angry already, I went downstairs to the kitchen. Of course the kitchen light wasn't working, so I went to get my lamp. As I turned it on, I saw a cockroach lying in the middle of the flithy floor.

Anyway, my question to you, oh wise DiS, is: Am I entitled to get some of my rent back? I have been paying rent for the past week so surely that would mean that this flat should have been liveable for the past week? How should I go about complaining the the estate agents?
