<boring rant> Ok so in my last week of school before summer, instead of having "alternative timetable" where we do FUN activities, the 5th and 6th years were roped into what I call "slave labour week" where we did gardening and cleaning up the school and dull things like that.

On one of the days we were meant to be doing a sponsored walk, where we had to get the money BEFORE we did the walk and had about a week to raise that money and collect it.

Lots of people just blew off the whole idea and skipped the week/the walk, I was one of those people. Now on our return to school, a whopping 6 weeks later, the head teacher is STILL angry about it and ranted at us saying we had to bring in a note to explain why we weren't there. (That was one week ago).

Now today my friend tells me (I missed school today and so missed hearing this) that they have the names of everyone who missed it, and now all those people HAVE to raise money and go on the walk instead this friday after school, and it lasts about 2 or 3 hours. We HAVE to.

I hate my school.
