I thought games consoles died years ago

bamos [Edit] [Delete] 10:44, 6 September '07

Right. I thought consoles and stuff were purely for kids. And teenagers, but the sort of thing that you grew out of by the age of 16 or something.

But now, everyone seems to be on and on about them. Thirty year-olds at work are talking about their Nintendo Dog or Sony Whatnot, and it's starting to scare me.

When did all this change? Was it always like this and I just wasn't aware? I've never owned a console or played a game for more than about five minutes, and I just really really don't get it.

I thought computer console things had died in the late 90's. Now they're everywhere again. I think I'm in a timewarp. What's going on? It scares me.
