A while back I posted saying how completely irritating my various nervous tics are (finger-tapping, foot-tapping, beatboxing, swearing, random words under my breath, etc. all in various degrees or intensity and all, once i start, repeated over and over in intense 10-minute bursts, often with a day or so of silence in between. Good days it's not noticeable, bad days it's awful).

But sometimes I get what's known as 'complex vocal tics', and the other night took the biscuit. 1am, in bed, girlfriend on other side of bed.

The first thing I knew about anything was when she turned round to me and said 'Did you just say 'My name is Steve'?

Aaaaagh.

P.S. My name is not Steve.
